Terre Haute, In. – The Terre Haute Resort Casino Foundation is actively exploring ways” to help fund a new Vigo County School Corp. high school. The Casino Resort Foundation is a nonprofit established earlier this year. Casino foundation funds come directly from casino gaming revenue. Casino official say, “a majority of our future annual funding could be utilized towards a collaborative community project for a new high school, a commitment that could span 20-25 years.” The collaborative project would include the proposed oversight board, Vigo County School Corp., Vigo County Council and other community stakeholders.
