
Terre Haute, In. – It was just about 2:30 am when the call came in of someone shot in downtown Terre Haute. When Terre Haute Police officers arrived in the 600 block of Wabash they quickly located the victim and began life saving measures. Meanwhile additional officers located a suspect nearby and a weapon and took him into custody. Police say that for an unknown reason the suspect brandished a weapon and fired striking and innocent bystander and himself. The bystander later died from the gunshot wound and the suspect is in jail.
