Parke County, In. – Last Saturday night Parke County Sheriff Deputies investigated a shooting incandescent that sent one person to the hospital and another to jail. The call came in around 9 PM. The report said 25-year-old Skyler Chowning of Veedersburg had been shot in the thigh and he was being taken to the hospital by 21-year-old Hannah Boswell of Kingman. The Deputies intercepted them on route to the Hospital. Chowning told the Deputies that he was shot by an unknown person. As the investigation continued it was learned that Chowning’s injury was a self-inflicted accidental gunshot. Chowning was flown to an Indianapolis hospital from the scene with a non-life threatening injury. Hannah Boswell was arrested on Possession of a Legend Drug.
