Terre Haute, In. – Last year the Terre Haute Capital Improvement Board funded a study on the crow problem in the city. The Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce collaborated with Wild Goose Chase, a company that specializes in crow management. Wild Goose Chase suggest the board purchase an automated laser system designed to scare the crows away. The cost of the laser system is about $18,000. The laser system will soon begin operation and the Wild Goose Chase company will monitor the laser’s effectiveness and suggest other methods for areas where the laser may not work as well.
