
Terre Haute, In. – Indiana State University announced that plans are underway to move the University Bookstore back to a more central location on campus sometime during the 2026-27 academic year.. The store is currently operated by Barns & Noble in a building between 4th and 5th on Cherry Street which is owned by an investor in Arizona. The building also houses the ISU Foundation. The University’s contract with Barns and Noble as well as Barns and Nobles lease is up next spring. The ISU Foundations lease is not up until 2021. The university is seeking a vendor to renovate space on campus for the Bookstore move.
