Western Vigo County, In. – Sunday afternoon The Vigo County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to an accident that had occurred on State Road 63 at Durkees Ferry Road Northwest of Terre Haute. When the deputies arrived they found the driver of an SUV entrapped in the vehicle. The Sheriff’s Office investigators say that the driver of the SUV failed to yield the right of way to a Jeep traveling southbound. The driver of the SUV was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown to the passenger side floorboard. The SUV driver was Lifelined to an Indianapolis Hospital. The Driver and passenger of the Jeep we transported to the hospital in Terre Haute.
