Vermillion County, Indiana – On Thursday a press release issued by The Vermillion County Community Foundation announced the awarding of a $3,250 grant to Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry to support their Meat4Forks program, which helps bring much-needed meat to families facing food insecurity across Vermillion County. Through partnerships with local farmers, 4-H groups, and meat processors, Meat4Forks turns donated livestock into ground meat packages which is distributed to local food pantries and agencies.
