Terre Haute, In. – Fire Crews from the Terre Haute Fire Department, including two aerial ladder trucks, were dispatched to a fire near 10th and Locust streets in the city just before 6 pm Thursday afternoon. As the first fire crews arrived they found heavy smoke and flames coming from the roof of the building identified as City Motors LLC. The building partially collapsed during the fire and wastewater crews were called in to assist with demolition and debris removal, allowing firefighters to extinguish the remaining hot spots. One person suffered burns during the fire and treated at the scene. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire. The picture posted with this story is courtesy of WTHI-TV 10.
