Indianola, Il. Woman Arrested For Theft

Vermillion County, In. – The Indiana State Police Special Investigation, Organized Crime and Corruption Division, initiated a criminal investigation after a report that the caretaker for an Vermillion County resident had allegedly stolen $110,000 from the individual. The former caretaker was identified as 59-year-old Pamela J. Girton of Indianola, Illinois. The Vermillion County Prosecutors office issued a warrant for Girton. She was arrested by Vermillion County Sheriff Deputies and booked into the Vermillion County Jail facing charges of Theft Value of Property greater than $50,000.00, a level 5 and Exploitation of an Endangered Adult, Class A Misdemeanor.
