Executive Director of Hulman Regional Airport Updates The Board

Terre Haute, In. – Executive Director of Hulman Regional Airport Craig Maschino presented an update to the Airport Board on Wednesday. He confirmed that a $166,000 grant will help pay for 2 new enclosed cab tractors that will cut the mowing time of the airports grounds and be much more efficient. To complete the purchase the airport will kick in $311,000 from it’s rainy day fund. Maschino also updated the plans for the solar farm at the airport. The solar panels have been purchased with $500,000 grant from the state. The panels will be stored at the airport until construction on the solar farm begins early next year.
