
Terre Haute, In. – It was hot evening but that didn’t stop citizens fro attending the First Responders Rally at Fairbanks Park Wednesday Evening. There was food and fun for the entire family and the chance to meet Terre Haute Police officer, Firefighters, State Police Officers, K-9 Police officers, Ambulance crews and more. All agencies had equipment on display and officers spent the evening showing the public how it works and answering question. The officers cooked up 2,000 hot dogs and had 4,500 cans of soda available. The Terre Haute Police department gave out back to school supplies for 2,000 kids. The Sheriff’s Office handed out water, Frisbees and crayons. The Indiana State Police had a ring toss for kids and each player received a bag of peanuts.
