Hamilton Center’s Back To School Bash Is Saturday

Terre Haute, In. – Hamilton Center’s “We Live” back to school bash will be Saturday 10 am to 1pm at Spencer Park. The Bash is free and is held to help local families prepare for the new school year by offering school supplies, giveaways and haircuts. Free clothing and hygiene products for both children and adults will be available at the community closet. Several local organizations will be on-site to connect families with valuable community resources, including healthcare navigation services. There will be plenty of fun for the kids too. There will be games, a foam party, bounce houses, kickball, and a 3-on-3 basketball tournament. The event also features live music and free food for all attendees. Hamilton Center’s President/CEO Mel Burks will present the Outstanding Community Member Award to honor an individual who has made a significant difference in the lives of others.
