Terre Haute, In. – Terre Haute businessman Steve Ellis has thrown his hat into the ring in the race for Vigo County Sheriff. Ellis, the owner of Top Guns in Terre Haute issued a press release Monday saying “The rumors are true…I will be running for sheriff.” Ellis will be running on the Republican ticket. He says he will be accepting any campaign donations which he says is a grass roots value-driven approach. He went on to say this campaign is about serving the people, not politics,” Ellis added. Detain on his platform are forthcoming.
