Parke County – Last week the Parke County Sheriff Office was informed that a child had been severely bit by a stray dog near Judson. Deputies were able to find the dogs owner, 43-year-old, Stephanie Bukea of Juson. First responders from the Marshal Fire Department rendered first aid before the child was transported by ambulance to the hospital. Bukea could not provide shot records for the dog so it was taken to be quarantined for 10 days for the possibility of rabies. Stephanie Bukea was cited for Harboring an un-immunized dog causing injury (Class B Misdemeanor) and Allowing Dog to Stray.
