
Terre Haute, In. – Thompson Thrift Real Estate/Construction Company has pledged a gift of $1.4 million to Indiana State University. They will also set up an internship program for university students. In recognition of the gift the university will be naming a new construction management department and classroom in the Bailey College of Engineering and Technology after Thompson Thrift. The new department will be geared towards giving students career ready skills in the construction management field. Thompson Thrift was co-founded by John Thompson and Paul Thrift in 1986. Both are graduates of ISU. The company has grown to become a national, full-service real estate and construction company.
