Vermillion County, In. – Justin Henry was accused to shooting at two Vermillion County Deputies in February of 2023 after he fled police in Illinois that ended up near Dana, Indiana. As police confronted him he shoe Vermillion County Deputy Joey Wilson and shot at Deputy Keith Warner. On Wednesday Special Judge Hunter Reece heard testimony from the Indiana State Police investigators and a forensic expert. After closing arguments the judge found guilty on all four counts, including two counts of attempted murder, possession of methamphetamine, resisting law enforcement, and the habitual offender enhancement. His bail was revoked and he was taken to jail. He will be sentenced on August 15th.
