
Terre Haute, In. – It was around 3:30 Monday Morning when a call came in that several people were in the Wabash River near the boat ramp at Fairbanks Park. Terre Haute Police officers officers Richardson, Gibson, Pohlman and Minor responded to the scene. When they arrived one person had managed to get out of the water but three others were still in the river. One person was being dragged down stream by the current. Terre Haute Police officer Richardson went into the water and was chest deep when he was able to grab the person get them to shore. The other two also made it to shore.
