
Clay County – Around 1pm Monday an Indiana State Police trooper attempted to stop a car on State Road 59 in clay county that he observed doing 108 MPH in a 55 MPH zone. The driver wouldn’t stop and turned onto I-70 Westbound with the trooper in pursuit with speeds reaching 115 MPH at times. The driver got off the interstate at State Road 46 and headed west on Margaret Drive with police in pursuit. After a couple of miles the driver made a U turn going back Eastbound and ended up losing control of his vehicle in the VoMax parking lot and hitting a parked vehicle. The driver was taken into custody and identified as 20-year-old Marvin White of Terre Haute. He was booked into the Clay County Jail and charges with Resisting Law Enforcement with a Vehicle, Criminal Recklessness with a Vehicle and Reckless Driving.
