Terre Haute, In. – In August of 2020 Dwayne French was beaten, robbed and murdered on his way to work. The investigation led to four suspects. Richard Durbin, Dwight Brown, Candace Jones, and Jesse Hess. All but Hess have been tried and convicted. Last week a Vigo County jury found the fourth suspect, Jesse Hess, guilty of murder, robbery resulting in serious bodily injury, aggravated battery and battery with a deadly weapon. It took the jury 3 and a half hours of deliberations to find Hess guilty.
