Terre Haute, In. – Around 12:30 Thursday afternoon Vigo County Sheriff Deputies responded to a report of a shooting in the Kroger South Parking lot in Terre Haute. When they arrived they found a car crashed into the front of the store. The woman driver was dead apparently shot by a male passenger who was also injured and in critical condition. A small female child in the car was able to get out of the car and run inside the store for help. The man was airlifted to an Indianapolis Hospital. His condition is unknown. Deputies said the two adults in the car apparently knew each other. The Sheriff Department continues to investigate and more details will be released later.
