Brazil, In. – The United Way of the Wabash valley is expanding their Neighbors Helping Neighbors program to Brazil. Working through the website wvnhn.org homeowners can request simple easily completed home repairs and United Way volunteers can connect with the resident and help get the project completed. Help with projects such as trimming bushes, cleaning gutters, assisting with simple carpentery repairs, paperwork or help with assembling pre-made furniture. Individuals and community groups are encouraged to sign up to volunteer. A grant from the CenterPoint Energy Foundation helped start the program in 2023.
