Terre Haute, In. – After being made aware of videos on Social Media of large groups juveniles fighting in the city. Terre Haute Police Detectives began an investigation identified multiple incidents involving the same group of juveniles. One Fight included a large group of juveniles in Fairbanks Park. During the investigation 6 people were identified and warrants for Battery Resulting in Moderate Bodily Injury were issued for them. Of those six warrants four have been served. The other two individuals have been identified as runaways, and police are trying to locate them. During the investigation officers received complaints regarding large groups congregating in the downtown parking garage and various other lots during overnight hours. In response, the Terre Haute Police Department have increased overnight patrols in the downtown area which has led to encounters with numerous juveniles and young adults loitering after hours. Arrests have been made for curfew violations and underage consumption.
