Linton, In. – Monday afternoon the old G.C. Murphy’s Store building in Linton partially collapsed damaging 3 cars that were parked nearby. Linton officials say that the back wall collapsed which caused the roof to fall in. The walls on each side are still standing but are unstable. INDOT has closed State Road 59 between State Road 54 and Southeast C Street. The building was empty and no one was injured.
