
Wabash Valley – The entire Wabash Valley is under a Heat Advisory through Friday evening. During this period we will experience the hottest Temperatures of the year. The highs each day will reach the mid 90’s with the heat index reaching into the 100’s. During the Heat Advisory The National Weather Service advises residents to drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
