Bloomingdale, Indiana – Just before 9pm Monday Parke County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to a report of shots fired in the area of Hilltop Road and US 41 near Bloomingdale. The victim told deputies that a m an had fired shot at him and then took off northbound on US 41. Deputies quickly located the suspect and took him into custody. They took a loaded pistol from the suspect and kept it as evidence. The suspect was identified as 71-year-old Terry Cox of Bloomingdale. Cox was booked into the Parke County jail with charges of Criminal Recklessness wl a Firearm and Intimidation w/ a Deadly Weapon. Cox is being held in jail with no bond.
