Terre Haute, In. We have more details on the fatal accident that happened at 13th and Oaks Streets Saturday. Police say that an SUV driven by 30-year-old Misty Casey was traveling west on Oak Street and did not stop at the stop sign and hit a truck traveling south on 13th Street. The Casey SUV had four juvenile passengers. Witnesses said they saw passengers hanging out of the sunroof as the SUV sped down Oak Street running several Stop Signs. Two of the juvenile passengers were killed in the crash. The other two suffered non life threatening injuries. The driver of the truck suffered minor injuries. A blood test showed that Casey’s blood alcohol content was 0.22 she was also positive for THC use. She has been arrested and charges with two counts of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Resulting in Death and Confinement. The police are still investigating the accident.
