Terre Haute, In. – The Kiwanis Club of Terre Haute will award 20 elementary school students in Vigo and Sullivan Counties with a new bicycle today. The Kiwanis sponsors the BUG…Bring Up Grades Program in the elementary schools in both counties. Each student that improves their grades or achieves straight A’s each quarter are awarded a certificate, a pencil and a BUG sticker and are entered in the drawing for a bicycle and helmet. The Kiwanis Club has been sponsoring the BUG program since 1992.
