Vigo County, In. – After World War II Americans took to the road as nearly every family had an automobile. As families traveled across the county the idea of pulling a camper trailer and staying in roadside camper parks appealed to American Vacationers. June 12th through 15th Members of the Southern Indiana Vintage Camper group will be moving into Fowler Park. The group will host an open house for the public on June 14th from 10am to noon. There will be up to 50 vintage campers on display for the public to enjoy. This year’s theme, Vintage Snowbirds, celebrates the social activities of campers from an earlier era.
