Vigo County, In. – Tuesday Afternoon Vigo County Sheriff Deputies responded to a roll over accident on I-70 just East of the state line near the 1 mile marker. When the deputies arrived at the scene a vehicle was upside down in the median. The driver and passengers of the vehicle were able to get out on their own. The driver suffered minor injuries and was treated by ambulance personnel at the scene. All occupants of the vehicle were transported to the hospital for treatment and evaluation. The cause of the accident was over correcting when the drive had to drive off the highway to avoid a slow vehicle. The Sugar Creek Fire Department and TransCare assisted and the Indiana State Police provided traffic control.
