
Terre Haute, In. – Over 12,000 people have visited the Larry Bird Museum in it’s first year of operation. Visitors from every state and locations around the globe. The museums website had had 26,000 visits in the first year. The museum is a tribute to the legendary basketball player, Larry Bird, and his career. The museum features memorabilia, interactive exhibits, and interviews with coaches, teammates, and rivals. It chronicles his career from high school to his time at Indiana State University and his pro career with the Boston Celtics. The Museum is located inside the Terre Haute Convention Center. It is open Wednesday through Sunday.
