Terre Haute, In. – Qatar Airways will purchase over 400 new jet engines from GE Aerospace for their fleet of Boeing 787 and 777X airliners. This will be the largest order of widebody engines in GE Aerospace history, These engines all require conbustor components manufacture from the Terre Haute GE Aerospace plant. Qatar airline officials say that “These next-generation engines are critical components in our strategy to ensure our fleet remains modern and efficient.”
