Statewide – Have you gotten an e-mail from an organization saying they are a state of Indiana auditing company that works with a state agencies informing you that you owe a small unpaid toll. They offer to help you get it paid. What this is is a phishing attempt. Once they have access to your information they can steal you identity, drain your bank accounts and cause you all kinds of head aches. Indiana Secretary of State Diego Morales is warning Hoosiers to be aware and do not open any links in the e-mail and delete it as soon as you get it.
