Clay County, In. In April we reported that 47-year-old Dale L. Evans was shot by police officers after he stole a U-Haul truck, ran from police, rammed police cars and attempted to hit police officers. He was taken to an Indianapolis Hospital for treatment of his injuries. Evans has recovered from his wounds and has been arrested and charged with battery on a public official, intimidation with a deadly weapon, auto theft, criminal recklessness while armed with a deadly weapon, resisting law enforcement with a vehicle, and criminal mischief.
