North Terre Haute, In. – Just after 3pm Tuesday fire crews from the Otter Creek Fire Department were called to what was reported as a Residential Structure Fire with Entrapment in the 3700 block of East Park Avenue. When the crew arrived on scene, they found heavy smoke and flames coming from the rear of the home. The Otter Creek firefighters worked quickly and diligently to get water on the fire and stop the advance of the flames. Lyford Fire Department was requested for a tanker and manpower as well as Seelyville Fire Department for a tanker. At this time the cause of the fire is unknown and there have been no injuries reported.
