Terre Haute, In. – The public will have a chance to voice their opinion on the proposed merger of Union and Terre Haute Regional Hospitals.  The Indiana Department of Health is holding a town hall type meeting Thursday May 1st from 5:30 to 7pm in the Oakly Auditorium at Ivy Tech of Terre Haute and the public is invited to attend.  The state has authority to approve the merger after Union Hospital filed a Certificate of Public Advantage. The State Department of Health will make a decision by August 13th.
