Terre Haute, In. – The Terre Haute Police Department arrested 23-year-old Owen Reynolds, a senior at Rose-Hulman on charges of child pornography and child exploitation.  The Terre Haute Police Departments “Juvenile Unit” investigated the case which led to the arrest.  The investigation says that Reynolds attempted to hide his online identity by using multiple accounts.  The THPD received a tip from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children, leading them to discover IP addresses linking back to Reynold’s address in Terre Haute, and his parents address in Arizona.  After obtaining search warrants detectives discovered over 150 videos, some of them containing images of minors. The combination of video evidence and electronic evidence led investigators to Reynold’s apartment at the Village Quarter. Reynolds was arrested at Rose Hulman last Wednesday. Reynolds is out on bail.  He faces charges of possession of child pornography, and child exploitation.
