Seelyville, In. – The town of Seelyville has received a $750,000 grant to be used for storm water sewer upgrades. The old sewer pipes deteriorated over the years and are in poor shape. Some areas of the town don’t have storm sewers available. Town officials hope the upgrade will eliminate standing water which is a breeding ground for mosquitos in the summer. The standing water also deteriorates road pavements as well.
