Indianapolis, In. – Republican State Senator Greg Good of Terre Haute has been appointed to serve as co-chair of the Indiana General Assembly’s defense caucus. The Defense Caucus was created to identify and propose opportunities to support the state’s role in the county’s defense. Goode says, “”As home of the 181st Intelligence Wing at Terre Haute Air National Guard Base, the Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division — the nation’s third largest naval base —and other military installations across the state, Indiana is well positioned to support our nation’s defense industry.” He also mentioned that one in five Hoosiers work in advanced manufacturing, and Indiana has the nation’s sixth largest aerospace manufacturing industry.
