Vigo County, In. – Just after 3:30 pm Saturday afternoon the Riley, Honey Creek and Sugar Creek Fire Departments and Indiana DNR Conservation Officers responded to a report that an Ice Fisherman had fallen through the ICE at a pond near Dallas & South Singhurst Road.  When they arrived, they found a man clinging to the edge of the ice.  Members of the Honey Creek fire dept. And DNR donned ice rescue suits and was able to bring the fisherman to the dock where he was examined by a Transcare ambulance crew before being transported to the hospital.  He is expected to make a full recovery.
