Terre Haute, In. – Shortly before 2am Tuesday the Terre Haute Fore Department responded to a fire in a home in the 1500 block of Poplar Street. The fire crews were able to put the fire out quickly, but an adjacent home suffered some damage. Neither of the damaged homes were occupied and neither had active utilities. There were no injuries and the cause is undetermined.
