Terre Haute, In. – Thrive West Centrals Homes for the Future program is developing another new home project in Terre Haute. The Homes for the Future incentivizes home builders and developers to build homes in West Central Indiana. A ribbon cutting was held last Wednesday afternoon for Southard Acres West, a new subdivision on the north side of the city. Southard Acres West will consist of 17 single-family homes off Haythorne Avenue. A groundbreaking was held Wednesday afternoon for Athletic Village of Gerstmeyer High. This new complex will be built on the site of the old Gerstmeyer Hight School at the corner of 13th and Locust.
