Terre Haute, In. – A Terre Haute Police Department marked patrol car was involved in a rear-end collision Sunday evening. The officer was coming to a stop at a red light on South 3rd street near I-70 when his car was struck from behind by a car driven by 36-year-old Jessica Jensen of Terre Haute. The officer sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. Jensen also complained of injuries and was transported to the hospital. A blood test on Jensen showed her blood alcohol was nearly 4 times over the legal limit. She was arrested and faces charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, Operating A Vehicle While Intoxicated Endangering, driving with a Suspended License Causing Injury and Operating without Financial Responsibility.
