Parke County, In. – Thursday night first responders were dispatched to an accident on Coxville Road south of Mecca.  When they arrived, they found a vehicle upside down and abandoned.  Through investigation Parke County Sheriff Deputies found that 35-year-old Ashley Hartman of Mecca was the only occupant of the vehicle but fled before the first responders arrived.  She was located a short time later and taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries she received in the accident.  The information on the accident has been forwarded to the Parke County Prosecutor. Parke County Sheriff’s Deputies, Montezuma Police, Mecca First Responders, Lyford First Responders, Parke County EMS and DD Towing responded to the accident.
