
Terre Haute, In. Wednesday Afternoon Central Dispatch received a call of a Domestic Violence situation in the 2100 Block of north 26th Street in Terre Haute. The caller advised that the male, who was identified as Joshua D. Corbin of Brazil, IN, was fighting with a female. As officers were in route Central Dispatch advised that the Corbin had multiple active warrants for his arrest out of Clay County.
As the first officer arrived on scene he witnessed Corbin getting into a large red pickup truck and he then fled from the officer and the scene. Officers of the Terre Haute Police Department pursued Corbin east through Terre Haute into Vigo County and then into Clay County where he was was taken into custody in the 5000 block of US 340.
Corbin was taken into custody without incident and was brought back to the Vigo County Jail where he faces felony charges from today’s incident. Corbin will later be extradited back to Clay County for the warrants he was also arrested on.
