
Rockville, In. – Tuesday afternoon the Rockville Police stopped a car at College St. and Elm St. following a request for a welfare check on an elderly male that was suspected of being abused. The vehicle stopped belonged to the elderly male. During the stop, officers found two male occupants that were not the owner. The driver, Shane McIntosh informed officers that he did not have a driver’s license. The passenger was identified as Cory A. Skinner. After a records check Skinner was found to wanted in Illinois on charges of Sexual Battery. Cory was arrested and taken to the Parke County Jail on his outstanding warrant. Shane was arrested for driving while suspended with a prior conviction for that offense. Both were transported to the Parke County Jail. All charges are preliminary, and suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court. The elderly male was later located and found to be in good condition.
