Terre Haute Man Arrested For Theft And Threatening People At Mini-Mart

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – A Terre Haute man is facing charges after police say he stole items from a local gas station – threatening to kill two people in the store by stabbing them with a screwdriver.

Police say it happened just after 4:30 on Wednesday afternoon at the Marathon gas station near 3rd and Poplar Streets.

35 year old Derrick Wilson allegedly made the threats after he was confronted and accused of stealing items from the store.

Wilson was found by officers a short time later near 7th and Oak Streets and was arrested on charges of robbery.

He is set to make his first court appearance today.
