TERRE HAUTE, Ind – Filing for the 2019 municipal elections is now underway.

Yesterday was the first day for filings and Terre Haute Mayor Duke Bennett has filed to run for a fourth term.

Democrat Karrum Nasser also filed Wednesday morning.

The filing period ends February 8th.

Pat Goodwin has previously announced that he would run as an independent and since he will not have to run in a party primary he has until July 2nd to file.
