INDIANA – President Donald Trump plans to speak at the FFA’s national convention on Saturday in Indianapolis, according to a report in the Indianapolis Business Journal.
The annual event starts today and is expected to bring about 70,000 blue-jacket-wearing attendees from across the country to downtown Indianapolis to learn about science and agriculture.
Trump is expected to speak for 20 to 30 minutes at a session Saturday afternoon at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
FFA officials say that they invite the president every year to the national convention.
The last time a president attended was when George H.W. Bush spoke in 1991.
