TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Out partners at News 10 are reporting that a new location has been selected and remodeling work is underway for a new Veterans Affairs Clinic in Terre Haute.
According to a spokesperson the site behind Honey Creek Mall is separate from the new VA clinic announced earlier this year and that this location behind the mall will be more of a temporary clinic to serve veterans while plans for a full-service VA facility are still being put together.
The new 37,000 square foot facility will be built from the ground up and is expected to cost around $25 million.
A site has not yet been announced but other details could be released in about a month.
