BRAZIL, Ind – The investigation continues into a crash that happened in downtown Brazil Thursday afternoon.

First responders were called to Eddie’s Sandwich Shop around 3:45p.m. when a car slammed into the building sending tables, chairs and patrons flying.

Three people suffered minor injuries.

Police say that the female driver was semi-conscious when they arrived on scene.

It is still not clear what caused the crash but the owner, Brian Wilson told our reporter Friday morning that the woman was an employee of the restaurant coming to work and she does not remember anything about the accident.

Basic repairs have been made and after working all night, the business is back open.
